The Tasmanian Whisky and Spirits Association is the state’s peak body to protect and promote Tasmanian spirits. We are a strong, trusted and respected voice for the entire spirit industry.

While we advocate and develop policies for the whole industry, we also offer services to our members to facilitate business growth, professional development and support.  

We offer members the opportunity to participate in our programs and consumer events, providing benefit from collective marketing initiatives that increase the exposure of individual brands.

Full Membership is open to any company distilling in Tasmania and is committed to advancing the integrity and future of Tasmanian spirits.

We also recognise the importance of our wider ‘spirits family’, including our suppliers, complementary producers and other stakeholders and offer Associate Memberships.

Full Member

$380 p.a, renewed annually on the 1st July

You have an ATO Excise Manufacture License and own and use a still or plan to purchase, own and use a still within 12 months of the initial membership application.

$270 p.a, renewed annually on the 1st July

If you do not have a manufacturer licence, you can apply to be an Associate Member. We also welcome suppliers working with the Tasmanian whisky and spirits industry or adjacent industries.
